Attend this Workshop

Often working with multiple sites or podcasts means a lot of copying and pasting the content from one blog editor into another. But if you have a feed (and you should if you’re producing a podcast), you can automate this process using the free FeedWordpress plugin.

In this workshop, I’ll show you how to install and configure the plugin and how I use it to aggregate all of my podcast feeds on my personal webpage.

In order to follow along during the workshop you’ll need:
a laptop
a personal wordpress site (or WordPress installed locally on your machine)
one or more RSS feed URLs

or just watch and listen and you can easily set it up at home after Podcamp.

Key Take Aways

  • Set up FeedWordpress plugin on your Wordpress blog
  • Load different feeds into the plugin
  • Configure settings for each feed
  • Deal with gotchas and bugs
  • Related tools
